These principles have continued to lead the delivery of healthcare over the last decade and sets the highest standards of excellence and professionalism – in the provision of high-quality care that is safe, effective and focused on patient experience; in the planning and delivery of clinical and other services it provides; in the people it employs and the education, training and development they receive; in the leadership and management of its organisations; and through its commitment to innovation and to the promotion and conduct of research to improve the current and future health and care of the population. The NHS clinical governance model is recognised globally as a best practice model.

Clinical Solutions’ clinical governance work is led via an internal Clinical Strategy Board which was established to create and progress strategic direction and communicate that vision, role, direction and priorities to customers and other stakeholders and colleagues.
Sitting under the Clinical Strategy Board, is a Clinical Advisory Panel, a Research and Audit Group and a Clinical Risk Group.
The clinical governance framework demonstrates that there is a sound, safe and effective clinical foundation inherent throughout all aspects of Clinical Solutions products - from development, production to implementation and support.
