No place like home

17 April 2011 : Given a choice, I think it’s safe to say when our health is suffering, there’s no place like home; it is where we can relax, and feel safe.

The Government has committed to investing in reablement; so where possible reducing the time that patients spend in a secondary care environment (i.e. in hospital) and move to delivering care in the community or at home. It is clearly more cost effective for patients to receive support at home, rather than unnecessarily take up hospital beds.

This change in focus is not without its challenges. The shift towards increasing levels of reablement is not a straight forward one, but it is our belief that Clinical Solutions' technology can help to address some of the challenges.
